Good morning, at the beginning I will write what medications I take permanently (every day), because there are quite a lot of them: Parogen (Paroxetine) 20mg - one tablet in the morning; Sulpiride 50 mg - one tablet in the morning; Pregabalin 75mg - one tablet in the evening; Propranolol 10mg - 3 times a day; Controloc (Pantoprazole) - one tablet in the morning; Neurovit - one tablet in the morning; Lorafen (Lorazepam) 1mg - one tablet in the morning, Nasen (Zolpidem) 10mg - one tablet at bedtime. A week ago I broke my right hip (exactly on the discharge from the hospital it is written "fracture of the right hip bone plate without displacement"), the doctor on the emergency room recommended only taking Ibuprom temporarily, but the drug, unfortunately, does not help at all and I am no longer able to withstand this constant pain (I will add, by the way, that this is my first fracture in my life and by nature I am very "delicate", So I feel all the pain much more than the average person). In connection with this fact, I contacted my internist and she prescribed me the drug Skudexa (Tramadol) 75mg + 25mg for emergency use (maximum one tablet per day). It would not be a problem if it were not for all the drugs that I take permanently - I am very concerned about some possible interactions of Tramadol with my other drugs (especially with Paroxetine - possible serotonin syndrome, and with Lorazepam - possible respiratory depression). In addition, Tramadol lowers the seizure threshold - although I take Pregabalin as an anxiolytic, not antiepileptic (I have no epilepsy), but a very long time ago, when I was very small, once I had an epileptic episode (I could not wake up and my parents had to take me to the hospital) - later in my life such a situation has never happened again. So far, however, there is a very big disgust for the strobe and quickly flashing lights (when I see them, I feel as if I am about to faint - which has not happened so far) and I am terrified that I will get an epileptic seizure (this is probably my biggest fear), despite the fact that I do not have epilepsy, but I take antiepileptic drugs and perhaps in combination with Tramadol some paradoxical reaction may occur, But I don't know much about it, that's why I'm asking a question here. So my question is this: Can I safely take Skudexa in combination with all my other solid medications, without fear of the possible interactions and side effects I mentioned, or would you rather recommend some other painkiller that does not interact so strongly with my solid medications? I will add that my internist before she prescribed me Skudexa, recommended me to use DicloDuo, but unfortunately I experienced unpleasant side effects after it, namely tachycardia, hypertension, palpitations and palpitations - for these ailments I use Propranolol, so DicloDuo is definitely a drug not for me, and over-the-counter drugs do not give me virtually any pain relief. My internist tried to calm me down by saying that in order for serotonin syndrome to occur, you would have to take Skudexa in very large quantities and very often, but I still take Paroxetine, which can also cause it. One more piece of information, I do not know if it is important when choosing a drug, but I have anorexia - I am 174cm tall and currently weigh 51kg. I kindly ask for help and thank you in advance for any answer to my question. :)
