Child 12kg, 22msc, angina, antibiotic Ospamox 2x3,5ml. Good dose? The interval between doses should be 12 hours or can it be longer or shorter? We bought heavily in the afternoon and I wonder if I did the right thing by waiting and planning the first dose only for the night so as not to mess with the hours of administration afterwards. Best regards.

The recommended dose of Ospamox for a child weighing 12kg is between 480mg and 1080mg per day in divided portions. Administration of Ospamox 500mg / 5ml (I guess that this dose was prescribed) 2x3.5ml gives a total daily dose of 700mg, it is within the recommended range. The antibiotic should be taken at regular intervals, i.e. every 12 hours. If you have given the first dose in the evening, continue to use every 12 hours. I enclose information that may be helpful and information about the possibility of using teleconsultation, if the need arises: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/fakty-i-mity-o-antybiotykach https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja During antibiotic therapy, it is worth using probiotics, I enclose materials on this subject.
