Good morning, I changed limetic because for 2 months I have spotting occurring daily, the doctor changed me to slinde. When can I expect to stop bleeding and spotting? (I'm only taking 3 tablets and spotting is still there) I'm already very tired of it, and I would like to finally enjoy contraception.

The average number of days during which bleeding and/or spotting have occurred should decrease over time, but this is a very individual matter and unfortunately it is difficult to answer definitively what it will look like for you. The disadvantage of using Slinda is the occurrence of irregular bleeding from the genital tract when taking it. Bleeding may also not occur at all. Irregular bleeding is typical of single-component contraceptive pills, although of course this does not mean that continuous spotting is the norm, however, "if bleeding is very frequent and irregular, another contraceptive method should be considered."
