I have been taking Vixpo tablets for 9 months. This month I was caught with angina and I was taking the antibiotic Ospamox. I don't know how it happened, but I completely forgot that it would weaken the effect of contraception. On the 4th day after the end of the antibiotic, I had intercourse, but without ejaculation inside. Is the risk of pregnancy high? Did the antibiotic completely block the effectiveness of birth control pills or did it only weaken?

An antibiotic has the potential to weaken the effect of birth control pills. It is not the case that during and after antibiotic use, contraceptive protection is zero. The mechanism of this interaction is that antibiotics disrupt the composition of the bacterial flora in the intestines, necessary to convert the hormones contained in the tablets into active forms, which may limit their absorption from the tablets into the blood. In addition, given that intercourse took place without ejaculation in the vagina, the probability of pregnancy is negligible.
