What are the reviews for Slinda?

Hey everyone! These will be my first tablets and of course I have a lot of doubts, especially because of Slinda there are practically no opinions. How did you react to the tablets? Does continuous sting affect many of you? I don't hide that it's a little disturbing to me. I would be very grateful for any information/feedback! With!

Slinda is a one-component hormonal preparation containing drospirenone. Slinda inhibits ovulation, causes changes in cervical mucus, and also affects the endometrium. During the use of the drug, irregular spotting and bleeding may occur. It may also happen that bleeding will not occur at all. Any medicine used can cause side effects. However, this does not mean that every patient will experience them. The most commonly reported side effects are, m.in, headache, abdominal pain, nausea, mood swings, acne, breast discomfort, weight gain: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/101505/slinda-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka If you see side effects of Slinda, I encourage you to report them. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane I encourage you to read additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji

Good evening, I've been taking slinda (drospirenone) for 6 months, for me it's a bit of a relief because I had very tiring periods, every month, I had two weeks to recover, big fatigue, migraine, dark circles, bad mood, pain, and now I feel much better and I don't have any more discharge, I had a lot before it dries out, on the other hand, loss of libido, that's for sure! The rest is fine.. month of July August I took my pill a little at the rache because I was on vacation and for two weeks I have brown discharge at the end of my period and moderate period pain I don't know if it's normal while I have had no bleeding since the beginning !? I hope it will destabilize

Hello dear girls, I took the Slinda pill for about 3 months. In other words, 3 blisters.

I had enormous side effects.:

- Dizziness, nausea, vomiting
- Water retention - Increase of liver values to the extreme - 13 kg weight gain - Skin blemishes, up to eczema on the face (where absolutely no cream or anything else helped) - Anxiety, mood swings -Fever -Fatigue -Gastritis - Abdominal pain, stomach pain

I don't take the Slina pill for over 1 week now. My eczema on my face is still slightly visible but has already improved. Dizziness and nausea are still present because my body has suffered a hormone shock. This takes a little time, I was told by the doctor. My liver values have improved, but are still high. Since the discontinuation of the Slinda pill was not long ago. Now I also have sleep disorders and tingling in my arms and legs in the evening.

My body and I suffered extremely from it.

Hello
Here is my experience with the SLINDA pill... Mother of two children and after several attempts pill or IUD, copper or hormone, my gynaecologist suggested SLINDA to me. I've been taking it for 1 year, at first I had spotting then after 2 months no period at all. unfortunately despite the advantage of no longer having a period it causes me a lot of inconveniences... repeated vaginal yeast infections, excessive fatigue, weight gain, and big loss of libido. My husband made the decision to have a vasectomy to avoid having to pay for a contraceptive.

Isalynn (Anonymous, 217.81.201.) 12 days ago

I've been taking Slinda for more than a year and I'm totally swaying. For more than 5 years with a year break, I have been using the hormonal contraception with the pill. The first 3 years it was Angiletta with Öströgen share. Then I was no longer allowed to take estrogen-containing preparations due to "migraine". At that time I had migraines, but without aura and now I went to a neurologist to make sure that I have other options besides Slinda, which works without estrogen. At first I thought no problem, this pill is really something for me. Yes, I thought. I gained 8kg within this time, got diarrhea, my hair becomes greasy within a very short time and my face was suddenly covered with pimples, which is tantamount to acne. But thanks to the migraine at the age of 16, my gynecologist did not allow me to negotiate with him and Slinda remained and still is my pill. But what I really miss as a woman is my cycle and maybe not many share this opinion, but I miss having my period. I feel torn and wavering inside. I don't have a rhythm anymore and that's driving me crazy. Slinda started spotting for the first few months, which "you can put up with" said my second opinion with another gynecologist, thank you for that. I haven't had my period for a long time now and I don't feel whole, if you can understand.
I have now reached the point where I want to get away from the pill completely, because in the long run it cannot be a solution for me and especially not for my body. I am now starting a new attempt by visiting the neurologist and really hope so much that my gynecologist will finally deviate from the opinion that only the Slinda or another estrogen-free pill is the only true solution for me. I've been telling my body for the last few months that it can't be that bad and that there is simply nothing else, but that's not true. I have black and white that I am not a risk patient due to the "migraine" and hope so much that it will finally be enough. The next target would be the hormone/vaginal ring. Please think carefully and listen to your body to see if you can tolerate this pill. There are possibilities and if you are satisfied with Slinda, then everything is fine (: Every body reacts differently. I wish you all the best <3 Liebe Grüße

I am 50 years old and for 7 months I have been taking Slinda for irregular and hemorrhagic cycle (it also lasted 35/40 days). I have not gained or lost kg but my breasts and belly are swollen as if I were pregnant. In 7 months I had weekly spotting and menstrual cycle in the middle of the pack every month and then on suspension. practically 2 cycles per month. I don't suffer from cysts or fibroids. The headache is slightly worsened as the mood. Vaginal dryness is extreme and total loss of libido. I am very skeptical about thinking of continuing with this therapy.

alessia  (Anonymous, 188.217.57.) 24 days ago

honestly I started taking the pill to be able to move the cycle, shorten it (it lasted me even a week) and to make it less painful, I was marked slinda so as not to worsen my mood swings (which I suffer from psychologically) and depression, I must say that it worsened my depressive and anxious states, so on that side it worsened them, The period is certainly less abundant indeed I have almost only spotting, only that in the first box I had both pains and the period for a long time (spotting) increased my hunger a lot but after all it is a short time that I take it I will let you know later

Sasa (Anonymous, 90.17.118.) 31 days ago

I have been taking this pill for 2 months, no positive result, periods for more than 2 weeks, very abundant, stomach ache + kidneys. No fibroids after vaginal examinations, I don't know what to do anymore.

To @chiara:

Given that you have been taking the Slinda contraceptive pill regularly for a month and a half, the risk of pregnancy is very low, even if the condom has broken.
Birth control pills such as Slinda are highly effective when used consistently.

Hello everyone, I have been taking the Slinda pill for a month and a half now, a few days ago while I was having sex with my boyfriend the Durex condom accidentally got punctured, this I am continuing to take the pill regularly and throughout the treatment I have never missed one, is there a chance that I am pregnant?

sara (Anonymous, 185.16.132.) 38 days ago

Hello everyone, I tried slinda and I've been taking her for two years, immediately in the first months she gave me spotting during the month, then everything settled, in my case (the gynecologist had warned me) the period no longer comes. I am very well; Now I am considering the suspension as it is predisposed to small circulation problems, the angiologist advised me to stop it and switch to the progestogen IUD.

To @Nora:
I am afraid that this question should be addressed to a gynecologist. The specialist will decide whether a given therapy is safe in your case - if not, he will recommend another method of treatment.

Side effects observed should be reported to the doctor, who will decide on further treatment. We write about why adverse drug reactions should be reported here:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane

If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

I have just started taking Slinda/Slynd,I have been on a combination pill for years, but I have got severe pigmentation on my face, severe PMS symptoms and lots of migraines. Since I have been taking it the pigment spots have faded and I have not had any negative symptoms and I am more energetic. Finally, I thought, this is for me.

It was the 3-4 green pills that gave me the problem. I was feeling pretty sick, I had headaches, horrible sweating and no period (common with this pill, I know.). I had to stay at home for a day because I couldn't go to work. I felt horrible.

I'm a bit scared.I can't take this every month. I know you have to wait the first three months out, but I have never had symptoms this bad. :(

My stomach hurts a bit at the moment. Now I am on the second-month pills, and I am feeling tightness in my breasts and I am scared of what will happen when I will take the placebo pills.

Should I be patient or should I throw away the pill? I am so sad. Help me, please!

I've been taking Slinda for about 6 months now... The first 2/3 months I had dark discharge continuously, but always without the slightest pain, then it disappeared out of nowhere.
Now I'm on my period and I'm in excruciating pain (even though I'm still taking the pill), is this normal?

Linda (Anonymous, 2.228.250.) 2 months ago

Hello, I have been taking Slinda for almost a year and since I started taking it I have lost about 8-9 kg. Is it an effect due to the drug? If I were to stop taking it, would I regain all the pounds I lost? As for other side effects I had nothing, except the loss of libido for a short period of time (3-4 weeks) and then recovered it completely. Thank you

Natasha  (Anonymous, 188.123.165.) 3 months ago

I have been taking Slinda for more than 6 months. I did not observe any side effects such as nausea, headaches, etc. In the first few months, menstruation went as usual, but without pain and not profuse. After the fourth pack, menstruation stopped going at all, to this day (for more than 60 days). Another huge minus is a large weight gain, despite the fact that I began to monitor my diet, I gained more than 5 kg.

To @Kinga:

I understand your situation and concerns about the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy. You took steps to prevent this by taking EllaOne after the incident with a broken condom. Your gynaecologist confirmed that you were not pregnant in February.

Changing birth control pills can affect the regularity of the menstrual cycle. Taking a new type of pill (Slinda) may have affected your cycle, which is normal. The body may need several months to adapt to the new preparation. If you still don't have a period 3 months after changing your pills, you may want to consider taking a pregnancy test for your own peace of mind. Please remember that previous negative tests are not always reliable.

I encourage you to read additional materials that may be useful:

Kinga (Anonymous, 89.64.102.) 3 months ago

I have a question. On February 14, I had sex and my fiancé's condom broke. I was then in the process of taking 7 tablets of Liberelle. I got scared and took an additional "morning after" pill EllaOne (after less than 24 hours). On February 29, I went to another gynaecologist and he said it was early, but the pregnancy was not and certainly would not be. I got my period scheduled from March 3 to 9. After my period, I was already at my gynaecologist, who changed my pills to Slinda. I was supposed to have my first day off from tablets and the gynaecologist told me to take a Slinda pill on the same day. I haven't had my period since. Can this be the case? Should I be stressed? The gynaecologist says that up to 3 months the period should appear, because the body must not get used to it. I'm very afraid of pregnancy. I don't want to do the test because I once did two tests that were negative and it turned out that I was pregnant (I had a miscarriage, 2022).

Aaaaa (Anonymous, 91.228.35.) 3 months ago

I took these pills for 3 months (because of pcos). The first month was perfect, nothing hurt me, I felt normal, but with the start of the 2nd month of taking the pills, I regularly had spotting and constant fatigue when I came home, my acne worsened and mood swings and impulsivity appeared (which before I was a calm and trouble-free person). After 3 months. The doctor changed my medication

To @Катя:

If you started taking birth control pills in the middle of your cycle and not from the first day of your period, it is best to continue taking the pills as directed by the manufacturer. You don't have to stop taking your pills or wait for your cycle to normalize.

If you continue to take the pills as prescribed, the contraceptive protection will take effect after about 7 days.

Катя (Anonymous, 80.187.103.) 4 months ago

I started taking pills not from the first one for menstruation, as there was bloody discharge and I thought that it was the beginning of menstruation, but then after a couple of hours everything went away. What should I do? Should I continue to drink or should I quit and wait until my period is normal and start drinking again? And if you continue to drink, how long will it take for the pills to start working?

Nerwoból  (Anonymous, 89.64.49.) 4 months ago

@Cline I literally had the same thing. Leg pains, chills, my legs seem to be boiling in my thighs - 3 years of going to doctors, Doppler, medications, everyone said that I was too young for it to be because of pills, depression, faster heartbeat, something approaching neurosis... I'm not mentioning that I've gained weight because it's the least important... I stopped having a panic attack and... started to be normal. His legs have healed, his depression has passed, his neurosis has gone away. It was only then that I saw what a bad mental state I was in. After discontinuation, my bowel problems started to fall out, but that's a piece of cake compared to what I've been through.

Cline (Anonymous, 176.166.214.) 4 months ago

I started taking Slinda at the end of 2021. I started having abnormal movement attacks (right side) for two years. Two years of struggle, neurological examinations, hospitalization, appointments with psychologists and psychiatrists... without any diagnosis. I decided to stop taking Slinda to see if I was menopausal and since then my seizures have stopped. It's been a little over two months since I've been living again. I'm waiting another month to really declare it but I'm convinced that my seizures, similar to dyskinesia, were due to this pill.

Karola (Anonymous, 195.72.148.) 4 months ago

I got a rash after slinda and had to stop using it.

Marty (Anonymous, 83.192.18.) 4 months ago

I have been using slinda for several months because being a severe migraine sufferer, combination pills are forbidden to me. And other pills don't eliminate period bleeding that causes me terrible migraines. I put up with it well. I no longer have catamenial migraines, but it causes severe vaginal dryness and loss of libido. I'm a little swollen in my breasts too. These are symptoms that I have also had with other pills. Slinda is a 4th generation pill. In my opinion, this should be avoided if you don't have any particular problems with menstrual bleeding.

SunnyMoni (Anonymous, 94.154.21.) 5 months ago

I've been taking Slinde for two years now. I had a problem with long periods and heavy bleeding. Menstruation is now missing. Nothing hurts and I feel alive. Libido has completely dropped. At the beginning, long spotting, pain in the breasts, lower abdomen and the worst depressive states for about the first months of taking. I gained 10 kg 😔

Chacha (Anonymous, 37.67.93.) 5 months ago

1st Slinda plate, nothing to report apart from some light bleeding. At the time of the placebo pills I had heavier bleeding. I started taking normal tablets (2nd pack) 15 days ago and since yesterday I have had my period...
Is this normal? I'm hesitant to stop it

Jackie (Anonymous, 101.115.181.) 5 months ago

I'm on my second pack of slinda. I had some spotting in the first month but it went away. I had my period and then started back on the white pills. Now half way through the second pack I'm bleeding again but more like a period, is this normal?

Barbie (Anonymous, 151.34.8.) 5 months ago

I'm on my second pack of Slinda, I'm 52 years old, but I've decided to stop: continuous nausea, intense abdominal pain, continuous spotting... A disaster just isn't for me

Ewelina (Anonymous, 172.225.188.) 5 months ago

Good morning
Reading bad reviews, I decided to join the conversation. I had hormonal problems - too high testosterone and dhso4 - the doctor prescribed me slinde - I feel so much better, I lost weight, I don't have any more hair on my chin, I don't have bleeding in between or from withdrawal - live not die. If there is an indication for the use of this drug, I highly recommend it!

Евгения  (Anonymous, 87.92.92.) 5 months ago

I took it for 3 months, Slinda began to have panic attacks, pain squeezing in the chest, gained 4 kg.
I stopped taking it, in less than a day the panic attacks and chest pain stopped. I found a taste for life again.

Andzia (Anonymous, 78.9.176.) 5 months ago

I've just started taking slinda, which is the 10th day and I still have my period, pain in the lower abdomen, I went from Qlairy in which I had spotting for half a year. This medication has to be taken at a fixed time and I do, but for me it's unacceptable. I'm already in my 40s and that's why the doctor prescribed me a single-ingredient drug, I'm going to choose until the end but I can't imagine walking around in a sanitary pad for a month. I don't know if this will go away or if I don't need to go back to estrogen.

To @Anonin:

Irregular spotting and bleeding may occur throughout your treatment with Slinda, regardless of the tablet number you are taking.

If you started taking Slinda after you have finished taking placebo tablets, you should use an additional method of contraception, such as a condom, for the first 7 days.

We wrote about how to use contraception correctly in the article:

Hi, I have deep entromethiosis and one ovary has been removed already one year ago. I started Slinda at the end of December 2023. I still have pain in genitalia areas. Slinda also introduced a lot of constipation. If I keep on using Slinda, does the pain and constipation go away? How long does it take to see if it works or not? First periods with Slinda were completely pain-free. I don't take the placebo pills.

Has anyone encountered this type of situation?

anonim (Anonymous, 109.196.114.) 8 months ago

In most cases, on the leaflet of other tablets it is written that you can be late with taking the tablet up to e.g. 12 hours (not once), how is it in the case of these pills? Nothing is written on the packaging and I was an hour late in the last 4 days (I wanted to switch taking the pill to a later hour) am I still protected against pregnancy? I've been taking these pills for 3 months and want to find out.

Iwona (Anonymous, 185.137.249.) 8 months ago

I took Vibin for 10 years and everything was ok, but 4 months ago the doctor said that I need to change to a single-ingredient because there is a higher risk of thrombosis and I am over 40 and I can tell you that it is a nightmare. I've had spotting every day for 4 months and it's such that I have to wear bigger pads, some depressive states, malaise, constant lower abdominal pain, nightmare and I decided to stop taking these pills, maybe younger girls will react better to the pills, unfortunately they didn't work for me.

Inez (Anonymous, 37.47.152.) 8 months ago

The doctor prescribed me these pills after giving birth, reading the reviews I was downright terrified but I am in the middle of the 3rd pack and I have no side effects, I have not gained any weight, the weight after pregnancy is falling normally, I have no skin problems, I also have no period or spotting, no mood swings etc. I am happy and pleasantly surprised

Pozdrawiam (Anonymous, 89.151.33.) 8 months ago

A lot of questions wouldn't arise here if the ladies read the whole leaflet. Because:
1) Slinda stops ovulation so you don't have a period between packs 2) If you don't ovulate, you don't have a period, you can only have withdrawal spotting 3) You may have spotting, but it doesn't have to be, and it's not a reason to be nervous and think that contraception has failed. I've been taking Slinda for 3 years now and I don't have any spotting at all, my complexion hasn't deteriorated or I haven't gained weight because I get fat from food, not pills, but I can't recommend Slinda because everyone has to have pills that match each other, so if you have any uncool effects of using them, you just have to change them. There are many different contraceptives available on the market and if one is harmful to you, you need to change it. In the same way, you can't write that you don't recommend slinda because it makes you fat - because this is an effect in one person, to whom these pills were not matched, in another it may be different.

Aneta (Anonymous, 89.151.33.) 8 months ago
