I have been taking Rybelsus 3 mg for 11 days, I have had high blood pressure for a few days, can it be a reaction to the drug?

Rybelsus is not known to increase blood pressure – on the contrary, some studies suggest that it may have a neutral or even slightly lowering effect on blood pressure, especially in hypertensive patients who are also struggling with obesity or diabetes.
Nevertheless, reactions to medications can be individual, and other factors, such as fluid retention, can affect blood pressure. If you notice an increase in blood pressure after starting treatment, it is worth consulting your doctor to assess whether this effect is related to the treatment or whether it is due to other causes.
