Hello, the gynaecologist prescribed me for intimate infections orally Metronidazole 250mg for 5 days twice a day twice a day and vaginally Betadine 200mg for 7 days after one globule per night, can I take them at the same time or only after finishing e.g. metronidazole start betadine treatment?

In the case of more serious intimate infections, the gynaecologist may recommend oral and vaginal therapy at the same time. Usually, the preparations are used simultaneously (night globules). I do not see the need to change the scheme in the described case. The Betadine summary of product characteristics does not indicate a risk of interaction with Metronidazole.
It is worth considering supplementing probiotics during the treatment and including vaginal probiotics after its completion. For more information:
