You probably meant Asertin. If so, please read on. Both preparations do not interact with each other and can be used simultaneously. However, you should keep an appropriate time interval between taking them. You can take Maalox at least 2 hours before taking Asertin or no earlier than 2 hours after taking this medicine.

Please note that Maalox is only symptomatic and should be used as a matter of administration. If you observe side effects, you should report them to your doctor, who will decide on further action and assess whether they are related to the medicine you are taking.
