What to do with an elevated GGTP?

If my liver tests are normal and only ggtp 160, is there a reason to worry or is diet enough?

The presence of a 3-digit GGTP (gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase) result should be consulted with a doctor. If you are unable to visit us in person, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

An increase in GGTP values may be associated with, for example, congestive jaundice and hepatic cholestasis, alcoholism, tissue carcinoma (cancer or tissue regeneration, e.g. after myocardial infarction), induction of enzyme secretion by medications or viral hepatitis.
