All medicines from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (m.in. ibuprofen, naproxen, ketoprofen) can interact with Triveram because they have the same mechanism of action. However, the use of anti-inflammatory drugs during treatment with Triveram is not contraindicated. It should be noted that this may counteract the effect of perindopril in lowering blood pressure and increase the risk of deterioration of kidney function (especially in patients with existing kidney problems).
Before starting to use anti-inflammatories, it is worth consulting a doctor who will assess the individual risk and choose a safe dosage. If long-term use of anti-inflammatory drugs is necessary, your doctor may recommend regular kidney function tests and blood pressure monitoring.
A safer alternative may be the use of paracetamol (however, it has mainly analgesic and slightly anti-inflammatory effects) or the use of NSAIDs topically in the form of a gel (in the case of rheumatic pain).
