Zentel is a medicine used to treat parasitic infections. Animal studies have shown that it may have potentially harmful effects on the fetus, especially if used during the first trimester of pregnancy. This is why the use of albendazole during pregnancy is generally discouraged, especially in the first weeks when the key organs of the fetus are forming. The most important thing is to consult a doctor or gynecologist as soon as possible. Your doctor will be able to assess the risk in your particular case, taking into account the dose, the duration of use of the medicine, and how advanced your pregnancy was when you took the medicine. Please do not decide to terminate the pregnancy yourself.
