Can I peel off the Evra patch after a few days of use to start using it according to the first day of the cycle?
9.99 zł

Hello, I applied the first Evra patch a week before my period and I regret that I didn't wait. I've been wearing it for a few days now. If I take it off now (I should get my period on Thursday, August 1), will my period appear? So that I can apply a new patch according to the guidelines. If not - will I be protected in this cycle? Thank you and best regards

The use of Evra contraceptive patches should be started on the first day of the cycle (on the first day of menstruation).

If you started your first cycle of Evra after the first day of your cycle, you should also use an additional non-hormonal method of contraception (e.g. condoms) for the first 7 days of using the patches.

I am not able to say whether you will have menstruation after removing the patch. Nevertheless, it is not recommended to remove the patch after such a short time of wearing it without consulting a doctor.
