Symptoms of Atarax overdose are mainly associated with excessive anticholinergic effects, depression or paradoxical CNS stimulation. These include nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, fever, somnolence, pupillary reflex disorders, tremor, confusion or hallucinations, followed by decreased consciousness, respiratory depression, seizures, hypotension or cardiac arrhythmias, and worsening coma and cardiopulmonary collapse. These symptoms can lead to death.
