If a 13-year-old has taken 4 tablets of Neuro Top Retard 300 mg in one day, seek medical attention immediately. Neuro Top Retard contains the active ingredient carbamazepine, and an overdose can lead to serious side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, coordination problems, difficulty breathing, cardiac arrhythmias, and other potentially dangerous symptoms. This can be especially dangerous in children.

Call an ambulance service as soon as possible (call 112) or go to the nearest hospital and tell the medical staff about the dose you have taken and your symptoms. Doctors will need to monitor your vital signs and may apply symptomatic treatment. In some cases, gastric lavage or activated charcoal may be necessary.

Remember to always follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage of medication in the future. You should never increase the dose yourself without consulting your doctor.

If you have any further doubts, it is worth consulting your attending physician. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-neurologiem
