I've been taking Methofill for 6 months now and I feel terrible (nausea, vomiting, metallic taste). What are the ways to function better after taking the drug?

Hey, I've been taking methofill for about 6 months now and I feel so terrible after it (I have nausea, I vomit, my throat is clogged and I have a taste like metal in my mouth?) do you know any ways to function somehow after taking the drug? The doctor recommended me to take locomotiv but it didn't help

Thank you for sharing your case. In this situation, please consult your attending physician. Your symptoms are severe and last for a long time, so you may need to change your dose or consider alternative treatment. You should also ask your doctor about increasing the dose of folic acid and suggesting other antiemetics (e.g. ondansetron).

If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

You may also want to consider taking the medication in the evening before bed, which can help reduce feelings of nausea during the day. Also, drink plenty of water before and after taking your medication, which can help reduce the metallic taste and throat congestion.

Do not modify the dose yourself or stop treatment without consulting your doctor. Any changes should take place under strict medical supervision. We wrote more about it here:

I encourage you to report an adverse reaction if it has not already been done:
