Should I discontinue Gynoflor if my symptoms have worsened?
Hello, I have started using gynoflor as my gynecologist has prescribed to me for candida, but when I started treatment 4 days in I started to notice that the symptoms worsened, since yesterday I have stopped using them, is this a normal reaction, should I proceed with the medication or get something else?
As of right now, i don't have any available gynecologists in my area especially because I work morning shifts.

Worsening of symptoms after initiation of Gynoflor treatment is not a typical reaction and may indicate the need to change therapy. Gynoflor is typically used for mild to moderate cases of vaginal candidiasis, but it is not always sufficient for more advanced infections.

Your doctor may consider other antifungal medicines that may be more effective for you, such as fluconazole (oral) or clotrimazole (vaginally). Please do not change your treatment yourself. Health is a priority and proper treatment can prevent further complications.
Also, avoid using irritants such as antibacterial soaps, lotions, intimate deodorants, etc. It is worth increasing the hygiene of intimate areas by using gentle washing gels, e.g.
