Saxenda (liraglutide) is a medication used to treat obesity and overweight that works by reducing appetite and increasing feelings of fullness. The time it takes for you to notice weight loss while using Saxenda can vary depending on your individual factors, such as your diet, physical activity level, and your body's individual response to the drug.

You may notice a slight weight loss in the first few weeks. Often, patients begin to lose weight after 2-4 weeks of using the drug, especially if they combine it with a proper diet and regular physical activity.

In clinical trials, many people using Saxenda lost between 5% and 10% of their initial body weight in the first 12 weeks.

Therefore, be patient and use the medication as prescribed by your doctor. If nausea intensifies or prevents you from functioning comfortably during the day - consult your attending physician.
