Yes, Montelukast Aurovitas 5 mg has the same effect on a 7-year-old as Singulair 5 mg and can be used as a full-fledged replacement.
Both medicines contain the same active substance - montelukast - at the same dose of 5 mg. Montelukast is a medicine used to treat asthma, especially in children. For children aged 6 to 14 years, including a 7-year-old, the recommended dose is one 5 mg chewable tablet taken once a day in the evening. This dosage is the same for both Singulair 5 and Montelukast Aurovitas 5 mg. Both preparations are available in the form of chewable tablets, which makes it easier to administer the drug to children.
