Is long spotting at 8 months of using Liberelle contraceptive pills a cause for concern?

I have been using Liberelle contraceptive pills for 8 months now and recently I got mid-cycle spotting, which has been going on for 2 weeks. At first, my stomach hurt for a long time (more than usual), and now it only continues to stain brown, sometimes bright red blood. In 5 days I should start taking a new pack of tablets. Should I start worrying and go to the doctor, are such long mid-cycle spotting not a cause for concern?

If spotting occurs after a long time of using tablets and is troublesome, it is worth consulting a gynecologist. It may be advisable to change the contraceptive. Additionally, the gynecologist may conduct tests to rule out non-hormonal causes of bleeding. I enclose helpful materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
